The essentials

Register without creating an account. Your details go to the AI Film Lab organising team, not a member directory. After submitting, the browser opens the WhatsApp community invitation.

Go to the registration form ↗

1. Who is responsible?

Creative Tech for Humanity ETS is the controller for AI Film Lab registrations. For privacy questions, corrections or deletion requests, contact Luigi Senese on behalf of the organisation at luigi.senese@ct4h.org.

2. What we collect and why

The form requires your name, email and WhatsApp number (country code optional). A social link or handle and short bio are optional. We also record the submission time and privacy-notice version to document your consent.

We use this information to manage your registration, understand who is joining and respond or contact you about accessing the AI Film Lab community. The legal basis is your consent under GDPR Article 6(1)(a). Registration is voluntary. Without the required information and consent, we cannot save your registration; you can still browse the site.

Optional details help us understand your creative interests. Leave them blank if you prefer. Do not include sensitive information or other people’s personal data in your bio. Registration does not subscribe you to advertising or authorise unrelated marketing, AI training or future commercial services. We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about registrants.

3. Access and security

Registration information is visible only to authorised AI Film Lab administrators through a protected console and their downloaded registration lists. There are no public cards or member accounts. The console requires administrator authentication; the registration form does not.

The site runs on OpenAI Sites with Cloudflare Workers and D1 database storage. These providers process information needed for delivery, storage, authentication and security. Hosting services may process IP addresses, browser information and request logs under their own terms. The form uses a temporary, essential security cookie, valid for 30 minutes, and a submission token to prevent invalid requests and duplicate retries.

4. WhatsApp is a separate step

After the form is saved, the browser immediately opens the official AI Film Lab WhatsApp community invitation. Saving the form does not send a WhatsApp message and the form fields are not attached to the link. If you join, WhatsApp and the relevant administrators may process your WhatsApp identity, number and messages according to the service’s features and your settings. Joining is optional. See WhatsApp’s EEA privacy policy.

5. International processing and retention

The hosting providers operate internationally, including outside the European Economic Area; this site does not promise EU-only storage. Their published safeguards include adequacy mechanisms and European Commission standard contractual clauses, where applicable. See OpenAI’s European privacy policy and Cloudflare’s processing and transfer terms. Contact us for information on safeguards applicable to your registration.

We keep registration details while they are needed to manage your participation, unless you withdraw consent or request deletion sooner. Administrators can delete registrations from the active database. Cloudflare D1 recovery history may retain earlier database states for up to 30 days; these are not exposed through the website. Any exported lists must also be updated when a deletion or correction request is fulfilled. Earlier waitlist records remain in a restricted administrative archive.

6. Your rights

You can withdraw consent, request a copy of your information, correct it or request deletion by emailing luigi.senese@ct4h.org. Withdrawal does not affect lawful processing before it. You may also request restriction or portability where applicable and object to processing based on legitimate interests. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity, and normally respond within one month, explaining any permitted extension. You may complain to the Italian Garante or your competent data-protection authority.

7. Cookies and updates

The application does not add marketing cookies, advertising pixels or third-party analytics. Fonts are hosted by the site. Essential hosting and security technologies are described in the providers’ notices; see OpenAI’s cookie notice. External services are opened when you select their links. This notice will be updated if processing changes. New consent-based purposes will require a separate choice before your registration is used for them.
